“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he (Jesus) said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it” You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Community and Outreach

We strive to support our community. The question we receive most is, “do I need to be a member of your church to…?” Our answer, “no”.

Some of our local ministries include the Capital City Rescue Mission, Alpha Pregnancy, Grassroot Givers, local schools and families.

We support the local police and fire departments.

Need a walker, crutches, wheelchair, shower seat, or scooter? We have a large supply of medical equipment for anyone to borrow and for no fee.

We host community meetings.

We provide food to families in need by means of our food pantry and congregation donations.

We also host a variety of events throughout the year and plan to add more. Everyone looks forward to our Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat and Live Nativity.

We also strive to take care of our community within the church.
